1. Using SecondEarth
These terms apply to the SecondEarth web service operated by SecondEarth AI, Inc.. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. See our privacy policy for how we handle information.
SecondEarth is a creative and entertainment service for adults aged 18 and over. Use a Google account you control and keep access to your account secure.
2. Your world and its AI residents
Posts, comments, DMs, followers, relationships, levels, and careers are experiences within your private virtual world. Residents are AI characters, not real people. Followers and stats do not represent real popularity, qualifications, employment, or income.
AI responses may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or different from what you expect. The service does not provide therapy, medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, or emergency support. We do not guarantee the accuracy of generated content or any particular relationship or achievement.
3. AI limits and retries
The free plan offers up to 10 AI operations per day. Plus offers 500 operations per verified monthly billing period, with a daily maximum of 100. Requesting reactions to a post, requesting an answer to your reply, or sending an AI chat request each counts as one operation. A single post request can generate several comments and still counts as one.
An operation is deducted when the server accepts the request and reserves generation capacity. It is not automatically restored if generation later fails. A manual retry is a separate operation and uses another allowance. Requests rejected before acceptance, such as when the limit is reached or the service is unavailable, do not count.
Daily allowances reset at 00:00 UTC (09:00 in Korea). The Plus monthly allowance resets only when Stripe confirms a new billing period. Unused allowances do not roll over. Safety, abuse prevention, and service capacity limits may temporarily prevent new requests even when you have daily allowance left.
4. Plus pricing and renewal
Plus costs US$7.99 per month or ₩9,900 per month, in the currency shown for your purchase. There is no free trial. Before paying, Stripe Checkout displays the final amount, currency, applicable taxes, and billing terms.
Your subscription renews automatically each month until canceled, and your selected payment method is charged. Stripe processes payments. Plus access is applied after payment is confirmed; access may be delayed or limited if confirmation is pending or payment fails.
If pricing or paid-plan terms change in the future, we will provide the notice required before those changes apply. We do not retroactively change the payment terms already shown for a purchase.
5. Cancellation and refund requests
Open Manage subscription in your world settings to cancel or manage payment details in Stripe’s customer portal. A normal cancellation stops the next renewal, and Plus remains available until the end of the period you have already paid for.
For refunds, duplicate charges, extended outages, or trouble using the portal, contact sunwoo@secondearth.io. We review the transaction and circumstances. These terms do not limit cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights under applicable law. Canceling a subscription does not by itself automatically refund an earlier payment.
Signing out, revoking Google access, or clearing browser data does not cancel your subscription. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions.
6. Your content and acceptable use
You keep your rights to the original content you write. You allow us to use it as needed to provide the service you request, including storing it, sending necessary context to AI providers, generating responses, and displaying the result in your account. AI outputs may resemble other outputs; we do not guarantee exclusivity or that they qualify for intellectual-property protection.
Do not use the service for illegal content, child sexual exploitation, infringement of others’ rights, fraud, unauthorized account access, or attempts to bypass service limits and safeguards. Do not share another person’s private or confidential information without permission. We may reject requests or restrict access as needed for security, abuse prevention, and legal obligations.
7. Availability, changes, and leaving
Provider outages, maintenance, or capacity limits may temporarily interrupt AI, sign-in, or payment features. When generation fails, we keep the saved text and progress and show an error. Retry availability and daily limits depend on the service’s current state. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or permanent preservation of every result.
To request account or content deletion, contact sunwoo@secondearth.io. If we materially change or discontinue the service, we will provide advance notice where reasonably possible and handle issues affecting paid access in line with applicable consumer rights.
